The Voice of hind Rajab

Hind was a 5-year-old Gazan who became trapped in car under fire in January of 2025. She made a call to Red Crescent volunteers pleading for rescue. Academy Award Nominated Writer-Director Kaouther Ben Hania uses Hind’s actual voice from the call to document the events that unfolded.

Critical acclaim
This isn’t just a film you’ll keep thinking about, it’s one you’ll live with —and that’s what makes it an astounding cinematic achievement.”
VOGUE Magazine

“… formally extraordinary, superbly acted, beautifully shot, and shaped and edited with rare urgency.”
Little White Lies

“No other film this year will get more people talking, or more people crying.”
BBC

“The movie doesn’t try to simplify the conflict or the ongoing destruction of the region. It simply boils everything down to a single case study in rage, sorrow and unfathomable tragedy, and asks: Why? Why did this have to happen?”
Rolling Stone

“It’s a powerful representation of the humanity that is being lost during this time… It’s emotionally effective, incredibly moving and haunting…”
Next Best Picture

“As the ovation surpassed 20 minutes, and in a clear effort to get the room to disperse, the lights were dimmed in the theatre. The clapping continued.”
